How to start?

Whether you’re new to CrossFit or a veteran you are welcome. The box is located next to Altstetten train station and is easily accessed by train, tram, bus or car.

How to start?

You can join our friendly community anytime. If you are new to CrossFit you will start your journey with some personal training with one of our experienced coaches and if you have experience in CrossFit training you can participate in a CrossFit All Levels class. Reserve a spot for your first lesson or foundation training at office@crossfitkreis9.ch. Please show up at least 10 minutes before your class or PT session.

What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. The Kreis 9 coaching staff has developed an intentionally designed fitness program that increases fitness across broad time and modal domain. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competency in each of the ten recognized fitness domains.

They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. CrossFit utilizes weightlifting, gymnastics, and monostructural metabolic conditioning to achieve these ends. The CrossFit Program was developed by Coach Greg Glassman to enhance an individual’s competency at all physical tasks. We specialize in not specializing. Our athletes are trained to perform successfully at multiple, diverse, and randomized physical challenges, thus making them more adept across a broad range of sport and extracurricular activities.

CrossFit All Levels

”Constantly varied functional movements at high intensity.” This is it. Basic CrossFit training that is scalable and accessible for everyone regardless of age, fitness level, or athletic background. 

 

CrossFit Advanced

Do you already speak and live CrossFit? SDHP, DU, MU, EMOM don’t need an explanation. If the answer is yes, then this class is perfect for you. This class will provide a higher workload and more complex movements over 75 min than CF All Levels, but is based on the same programming.

 

Open Gym

Want to practice your skills? Need to work on your weaknesses? Or maybe you missed a workout and want to catch up. This is the right time and place for that. However, you will be training on your own. If you wish to be coached check the next option.

 

Personal Training

Do you have specific needs? Maybe you just prefer to have the individual attention of an experienced coach. Perhaps your schedule limits your ability to workout at the prescribed times. Personal training offers our members the flexibility to suit your life style. Our trainers will be happy to support you with your goals.

 

CrossFit Mobility

This class is for you. Yes, we mean you! Better mobility equals better workout results and faster recovery.

 

CrossFit Make up

Did you miss a workout? This class will be offered every Thursday. You can perform any workout you missed the previous week.

 

FIT30

Fast workout for busy people. FIT 30 is a high intensity class without complex movements. This class is suitable for any fitness level and requires no prior experience.

Chance is that you have areas in your body where you feel pain or discomfort or even limited mobility. Lynn is eminently qualified to get to the bottom of your troubles, pinpoint the exact cause of the problem and then provide the best treatment for the condition.

If you are an experienced CrossFitter visiting and you would like to drop-in to one of our classes, you can join any of the classes listed on our schedule. Kindly drop an email to office@crossfitkreis9.ch to book your class. We will confirm your booking. Please be aware that our evening classes are busy!

To get the most out of your training, please study the instructions on how to get here and show up early (at least ten minutes before the class).

We allow drop-ins during scheduled classes not during Open Gym times. If you are a competitive CrossFit athlete looking to train on your own, please contact us in advance.

 

*** Because of the big demand we can't accept drop-ins to the following classes at the moment: Mon-Fri 6:30 am and 6 pm. Mon-Wed 7 pm. Thank you for your understanding. ***

 

Our drop-in fees are as follows:

 

30,- for a single drop-in

45,- for a single drop-in, plus a t-shirt

90,- for a full week’s worth of drop-ins (7 consecutive days)
